I am often asked "What music do you play?" Its a great question and the answer is not a simple one. This page is intended to provide you with an inside look at our music library and what separates me as a professional DJ from amateur and hobbyist DJ's. |

Professional DJ'ing
|
While almost every DJ will have virtually every popular song from the last 50 years, that really tells you nothing about whether or not he/she knows what songs to play and when to play them. A professional DJ is not a "human jukebox." A professional DJ knows how to "read the crowd" and tailor the music to what the crowd is responding to. Add to that the DJ's ability to "beat mix" from one song to another and that's what makes for a continuously fun dance floor. |

Since "Your DJ" began, I have kept my music library current with Top 40 pop and country music by subscribing to the Promo Only service. I get new CD's monthly with the newest Top 40 pop and country songs. So, if you're hearing a song today on Houston radio stations like 104 KRBE and 93Q Country, its likely that I have it in my music library! |
